Position Outline:

  • Manage Small/Medium Accounts
  • Work closely with Benefits Account Team to deliver proactive service and manage client benefit programs
  • Functions include managing day to day service requests, assisting with the renewal process, preparing client materials and working closely with Account Executive(s) and Benefit Consultants on client related tasks and projects
  • Maintain Carrier relations
  • Provide Mentorship to Junior Team Members

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years Group Benefits experience working on the agency or carrier side
  • Knowledge of coverages pertaining to group benefits

  • EPIC experience a plus
  • Four year college degree or equivalent work experience
  • TX L&H license required

Salary:

Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager – Growth Position

Our client is a regional P&C Broker who is conveniently located in a beautiful office complex in Baltimore County.  They are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager for their growing office.

Primary Functions include:

  1. Provide assistance to owners/producers in handling and processing of new and renewal commercial lines business in accordance with agency procedures and guidelines.
  2. Provide in-house customer service to clients as assigned and requested.
  3. Assist in marketing new and renewal business, determine premiums, prepare presentation packets and maintain underwriting and marketing information by carrier.

Qualifications:

Candidates should be familiar with AMS and company rating systems.  Experience with Habitational Risks (Condominium/Apartment Programs), Professional Liability, Property, CL Umbrella, etc is a plus.

Candidates should also have  3 years minimum experience in a similar position

Must possess P&C license.
