Our client, a Top 5 National Broker with offices throughout the US is seeking a Commercial Line Account Manager for their office in the D.C area, this role can be a hybrid role with 1 – 2 days in office.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the commercial insurance industry.
  • P&C Insurance License
  • Experience in dealing with medium to large property and casualty accounts.
  • Proficient in the use of personal computers and supporting software, especially MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to independently follow-through on projects to completion.
  • Maintain Client and Carrier relationships

Salary: $68 – $80K DOE

Positions Outline:

  • Insurance Broker (placement), Healthcare – working with Private Equity Transactional Advisory teams
  • Manage due diligence for private equity and corporate Healthcare clients
  • Arrange and place complex insurance programs to de-risk transactions
  • Negotiate with carriers on price and coverage

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of P&C insurance brokering experience
  • Niche experience with healthcare sector (hospitals, medical facilities, etc…)
  • Coverage knowledge: P&C, WC, Hospital Professional, Healthcare Management Liability, etc.
  • Private Equity and M&A transactional insurance service experience desired but not mandatory
  • BA/BS Degree (advanced degree and/or designations are a plus)

Compensation:

  • Target salary: $150-180k (doe)
