Summary:

Handles the day-to-day administration, annual renewals, marketing of new and existing clients, and on-going customer service for an assigned book of business.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage the day-to-day and annual issues of assigned clients, including annual marketing, proposal presentations, enrollment, on-going customer service and underwriting matters
  • Assist with the oversight of the assigned client team
  • Maintain client relationships to achieve client persistency
  • Identify, research, and present opportunities for new coverage with assigned clients
  • Assist producer with renewal and new client presentations by coordinating efforts from start to finish
  • Assist client team with sales and marketing efforts with new and renewal business
  • Maintain professional and courteous relationships with assigned clients by meeting regularly to discuss current issues and expectations to service the account

Required Experience:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5+ years of client management experience, with 5-7+ years of general Employee Benefits Brokerage experience – additional large market (100+) experience preferred
  • Proven professional history of success at managing client relationships
  • Possess a proven understanding of fundamental benefit laws, regulations and compliance standards
  • This role will be required to travel 20% of the time
  • L&H license is required
  • Industry professional designation a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to calculate customized financial analysis and present an interpretation of the data and its meaning
