  • Full-service brokerage firm servicing individuals, businesses & non-profits
  • Focus – PL, EB, Specialty & Middle Market Commercial
  • CEO comes from National Broker
  • 60+ EE’s (established service and marketing teams)
  • Target niches – construction, non-profit, social services, real estate, VIP personal lines
  • Added value Services – claims, RM and loss control, surety and analytics

Position Outline:

  • Mentor associates and play leadership role in the Personal Lines unit, claims management, and carrier relationships. Create/update process workflows where needed.
  • Attend carrier and industry functions when possible as company representative
  • Represent the company in professional/leadership COI relationship building in local area and other locations with Director
  • Assist Director in hiring process for all future roles
  • Pro-actively advise clients to exceed the client’s service expectations
  • Perform pre-renewal processes per the company guidelines
  • Manage expiration reports, renewals, and endorsements in a timely manner
  • Advise and educate clients regarding coverage, exclusions, and exposures
  • Conduct face to face or video conference meetings as regular COI and client communication
  • Respond to and resolve client issues regarding coverage questions and/or other related issues
  • Maintain appropriate documentation in EPIC of service, marketing, and policy communications with clients and carriers
  • Negotiate rates and coverage terms with insurers and MGAs for optimal client results
  • Professionally represent company with premier insurers and manage carrier updates
  • Report claims and act as liaison/advocate for client through entire process
  • Assist in the growth, retention, and marketing of the designated book of business
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities with team, current clients, new prospect

 

Qualification:

  • Minimum of five years personal lines experience
  • Experience with High-Net-Worth accounts a plus
  • Current Property & Casualty License
  • Strong working knowledge of insurance carrier websites and proficient in their rating systems
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide non-technical explanations to technical matters, and summarize and present information in a clear, concise and accurate written and verbal format
  • Good time-management skills, organizational skills, multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize
  • Ability to work as part of a team, independently, lead and mentor
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite Applications
  • Experience using EPIC is preferred
  • Insurance designations such as CIC or CISR a plus

Salary: $80,000 – $120,000 Depending on Experience
