Our Client, a Top 20 National Broker, is actively recruiting an Internal Recruiter that specializes in recruiting Commercial Lines and Employee Benefits Producers in the East and Central Region of the United States.
Role Overview:
The Internal Recruiter will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and hiring high-performing Employee Benefits and Commercial Lines producers across the United States. This role plays a strategic part in the firm’s organic growth strategy, supporting both experienced producer lift-outs and next-generation sales talent recruitment.
The recruiter will partner closely with regional leadership, practice leaders, and M&A teams to identify producer talent capable of bringing or building significant books of business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a national recruiting strategy targeting EB and CL producers.
- Identify high-revenue producers ($500k–$5M books) in competitor brokerages.
- Build pipelines through industry networking, referrals, and market mapping.
- Partner with leadership to create competitive recruiting packages (comp + equity).
- Source candidates through Insurance industry networks, LinkedIn Recruiter, Insurance associations, competitor firm mapping
- Assess Producer candidates based on Book of business size and retention, Carrier relationships, Industry specialization, Growth track record, Cultural fit
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field
- 5+ years recruiting experience, ideally within insurance brokerage, financial services, professional services
