Established in 1975 as a wholly owned subsidiary of a Medical Professional & Healthcare Association, our client is focused on serving physicians, their employees and patients, and their homes & families. They offer a complete portfolio of products and services, offering cross-sale opportunities into group benefits and personal lines with key focuses on business, disability, long term care, personal lines and other specialized areas.
Position Outline:
- Location: Baltimore, MD
- Hybrid work schedules available
- Duties Include:
- processing payroll using ADP; administration of 401K plan and employee benefits
- maintaining employee handbook
- maintaining all agency contracting and licensing
- managing relationship with IT Vendor and our agency management system
- ordering supplies, approving invoices, approving expense accounts
- scheduling, coordinating and attending agency BOD meetings, including preparing minutes
- some management responsibility
- Ideal candidate will have strong administration and organizational skills
- Insurance agency and agency accounting experience a plus
Compensation:
- Salary is depending upon experience
