This position will lead a 10M+ revenue division, that as an aggressive growth plan. This is an agency partner opportunity, and we are seeking candidates that have retail agency background and proven experience leading high growth EB teams.

Job Description:
Leadership & Team Management:
- Provide strong leadership to the employee benefits team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Recruit, train, and mentor team members, ensuring their professional development and growth.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities, monitor performance, and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Client Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for large group clients, building strong relationships and understanding their specific needs and objectives.
- Lead client presentations, discussions, and negotiations related to benefit program design, renewal strategies, and cost containment initiatives.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the large group practice, drive revenue growth, and achieve profitability targets.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics to proactively adjust strategies and offerings.
- Employee Benefits Consulting
- Provide expert consultation to clients on employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, disability, retirement, and other related offerings.
- Analyze and evaluate benefit plan designs, costs, and options to develop tailored recommendations that align with client objectives.
- Client Retention & Growth
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance and improve client benefits programs, addressing challenges and offering innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing large group accounts.
Client Retention & Growth:
- Enhance and improve client benefit programs.
- Develop cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
Compliance & Regulatory Oversight:
- Stay up to date with federal and state regulations governing employee benefits, ensuring client plans remain compliant.
- Provide guidance on regulatory changes and their impact on client benefit offerings. Financial Management
- Monitor financial performance of large group accounts, tracking revenue, expenses, and profitability.
Financial Management:
- Work with finance teams to develop accurate budget forecasts and expense projections.
Additional:
- Vision, Business Plan, Operations & Staff Management, Sales Leadership, Recruiting, Carrier Relations, M&A, Agency Executive Team Participation.
- Lead 10M revenue unit with 5-15 direct reports (structuring team now).
Qualifications:
- BA Degree (Advanced degree/designations desired)
- 5+ years of large account EB experience
- Team or Practice Leadership experience
- In-depth EB knowledge (Products, Programs and Trends)
- Excellent communication skills, carrier relations and presentation abilities
- Relevant software & tools (benefit administration, CRM’s, MS Office, etc.)
