Our client, a rapidly growing broker-dealer and trading platform is seeking a Digital Asset Counsel to join their team in Florida. The company is expanding its digital asset and crypto business and looking for a counsel who can help shape their legal and regulatory strategy as crypto continues to evolve.
Responsibilities
- Advise on compliance with federal and state crypto/fintech regulations
- Guide development and launch of tokenized products and digital-asset offerings
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex crypto and financial-services contracts
- Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to ensure compliant product development
- Monitor evolving crypto regulations and provide proactive recommendations to leadership
Ideal Background
- JD from accredited law school; licensed and in good standing
- 3–5+ years of legal experience (law firm or in-house)
- Deep knowledge of cryptocurrency, blockchain, and fintech regulations
- Proven ability to navigate SEC, CFTC, FinCEN, and state money-transmitter laws
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and cross-functional communication skills
- Experience advising on tokenized securities, DeFi, or blockchain infrastructure projects a plus
