Our client, a Top 5 National Insurance Brokerage, is seeking an accomplished Commercial Lines Sales Leader to lead and grow a high-performing region in Northern California. This is an exceptional opportunity for an entrepreneurial insurance professional who wants a true seat at the table and the ability to influence strategy, culture, and growth.
The successful candidate will oversee the P&L for a $36 million commercial insurance operation while leading a team of eight producers. This role is ideal for a proven sales leader looking to build something significant within a highly respected national platform. Candidates with or without an existing book of business will be considered.

Position Overview
The Commercial Lines Sales Leader will be responsible for driving organic growth, managing regional profitability, recruiting top producer talent, and developing a high-performance sales culture. This individual will partner closely with executive leadership and play a key role in shaping the future direction of the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall P&L for a $36 million commercial insurance region
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of eight commercial insurance producers
- Drive new business production and organic growth initiatives
- Oversee pipeline management and sales forecasting
- Develop and manage regional budgets and growth plans
- Recruit, attract, and retain top producer talent
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance
- Promote and execute cross-selling initiatives across business units
- Build strong relationships with carriers, clients, and industry partners
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning and market expansion
- Travel as needed throughout the region
Technology Environment
- Salesforce CRM
- Agency Management System (AMS)
- Anticipated transition to EPIC
Qualifications
- Commercial Property & Casualty insurance experience required
- Proven leadership experience within an insurance brokerage environment
- Demonstrated success driving revenue growth and managing producer teams
- Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets and profitability
- Ability to recruit, coach, and develop sales professionals
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to help build and grow a business
