Commercial Lines Producer – Wildfire Specialty Practice – Equity Opportunity

Our client, a venture backed insurance broker, is seeking a highly motivated Commercial Lines Producer to drive new business production within its Wildfire Specialty Practice. This role is focused on originating, structuring, and placing insurance programs for property-heavy accounts located in wildfire-exposed regions.

The ideal candidate brings a blend of sales acumen, property underwriting knowledge, and strong relationships within real estate or habitational sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy focused on wildfire-exposed property accounts

  • Prospect and win new business across:
  • HOA portfolios
  • Apartment and multifamily housing
  • Habitational real estate
  • Motels, resorts, and hospitality
  • General commercial property owners

Design and present complex insurance solutions, including:

  • Layered property programs
  • E&S placements
  • Alternative market solutions

Build and maintain relationships with:

  • Property owners and operators
  • Real estate investment groups
  • Property managers and developers
  • Partner with internal brokerage and placement teams to deliver tailored solutions

Stay informed on:

  • Wildfire modeling and risk trends
  • Carrier appetite shifts
  • Regulatory developments in California property markets

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of commercial insurance production experience (property focus preferred)
  • Proven track record of new business generation/book of business
  • Strong understanding of CAT-exposed property risks/E&S marketplace/Habitational insurance challenges/Existing relationships within real estate or property ownership ecosystems highly preferred
  • California Property & Casualty license required

Compensation & Benefits:

Base Salary: commensurate with experience and book potential

Commission: 40/25
