Our client, one of New York’s leading independent insurance consulting agencies is seeking a Commercial Lines Marketing Rep. Hybrid role with only 1 day in NYC office.
Client Profile:
- Founded in 1973
- Privately owned brokerage firm
- Headquartered in NYC
- 45 EE
- $80 in premium (60% commercial and 40% personal lines)
Position Outline:
- Responsible for quotes and preparing proposals
- Primarily quote new business and assist in re-marketing of existing clients
- Coordinate with carriers and underwriters to negotiate terms and secure coverage
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience with Commercial Lines Marketing
- Strong knowledge of commercial lines products, policies and coverages
- Familiarity with insurance rating systems, underwriting guidelines and carrier appetites
- Proficient in using insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with AMS360, Docusign, RMS, Excel, and PDF Editor a plus
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
