Wholesale Insurance Broker/Underwriter Openings (CA & TX)
The Rogan Group, Inc. a Risk Management and Insurance Recruiting firm is assisting a national wholesale insurance brokerage client in identifying broker/underwriters to lead expansion in the Western U.S. Our client is based in Atlanta, GA and targets the Transportation (Trucking) sector and is looking to establish home office locations in Texas and California.
Client Profile:
• Founded –2015
• Private Equity backed
• 35 M GWP and growing
• Currently working with 18 standard and E&S carriers
• Coverages: Auto Liability, General Liability, Auto PD, Cargo and Excess Liability
• Niches: Trucking
Position Outline:
1. Title – Broker/Field Production Underwriter
2. Responsible for:
a. Developing & educating the retail agent network
b. Producing profitable new business
c. Retaining renewal business
3. Open territories:
a. TX
b. CA
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of wholesale ins broker experience
- Production underwriting/broker background, with established retail network
- Transportation experience a plus but not mandatory
